... there are a LOT of results against a Google search on "MFI kitchen complaint". None of them seem to come with an epilogue. What I have endeavoured to do here is provide coverage not only of what went wrong, ie. the complaint, but also MFI's response along the route to what we hope will be the resolution - and how it is effected.

- I hate the dust-trap, space-wasting wall units that most kitchen sales outlets seem to spew out, so I shopped around to find a fitted kitchen that had wall units which would meet the ceiling instead of stopping short. The only range I found was Kelmscott Oak at MFI - not my primary choice for a kitchen, and more expensive than I would have liked, but the only one that ticked the ceiling box. Plus delivery & fitting had to happen all at one time, and be warrantied, so we could get on with the rest of the house and manage our busy lives.
